I reside in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my wife Jen, our daughter Emerson & sons Carter and Colton.
I’m the President of the Board of Directors of The Park People of Milwaukee County, a non-profit organization that raises money and is the primary advocate for the Milwaukee County Parks system. I also serve on the Board of the Washington Heights Neighborhood Association.
I’m politically active within the Democratic Party and currently serve as the Vice-Chair of the 4th congressional district for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. I sit on the administrative committee for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and the executive committee of the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County.
In addition to my personal weblog here, I also write a weblog for MilwaukeeMoms.com called “Modern Milwaukee Dad” and appear frequently as a guest commentator on WTMJ’s “The Morning Blend”.
I’m an advocate for a modern, efficient and effective mass transit system in Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee.
I’m also an active member of my union, WPEC (AFT Wisconsin local 4848), and currently serve as a union steward, DCA representative, and COPE committee member.
I’ve been “blogging” since 2000 about politics, technology observations, trends, and commentary.
