The people I blame are the ones who voted for Bush purely out of spite. They may not have necessarily agreed with his politics, but they’d rather drop dead than admit they were wrong about this closed-minded fool we’re stuck with for the next four years. Yes, that’s right. That would be George W. Bush, the short-sighted, Bible thumping, gay hating, holy rollin’, silver spoon fed, Constitution amending, Vietnam war avoiding, beer guzzling, nepotism exploiting, evangelical christian manipulating, unengaging, dumb as nails, end-time self-fulfilling prophecy creating, social security raping, stem cell research stifling, selectively “faith-based” supporting, natural resource abusing, name-recognition capitalizing, “I know what’s best in a region of the world I know nothing about” professing rich boy that the red states decided, for whatever reason, would be the best choice for the most powerful man in the world.

I thought our presidents were supposed to be spectacular people! Whatever happened to JFK and FDR? I’ll even give Reagan his props! How did we let the bar fall so incredibly low? Seriously, can Republicans actually look me in the eye and tell me they respect this man?

Now the election has come and gone, Bush is being, well, Bush, and his approval ratings are slipping. Hey, guess what America? You should have thought about that before you voted for this guy last November!

You wanted the perfumed prince, and you got him. Congratulations, America. The Bushes have pulled the wool over your eyes once again.
