I wonder if Journal Communications which runs the various "My Community Now" sites like wauwatosanow.com and cudahynow.com knows that it's used as the official campaign site for a guy running for Alderman in Cudahy?
Using the blogging feature of the *now.com sites may certainly be cheaper than paying for a separate campaign website, but I wonder if it's what Journal Communications had in mind when it opened up it's website to local residents?
Randy Hollenbeck for Cudahy Alderman website can be found here. Lit I've seen lists the cudahynow.com blog as the official website for the campaign.
I'm sure there is some sort of internal policy against this, and I don't think the purpose of the community blogs was to provide a platform for people running for office, so I'm surprised to see this happening.
