Free Electronic Waste Recycling This Weekend for Milwaukee Residents
If you have old computers, TV’s, or other electronic gear that you’ve been wanting to dispose of there is a free electronic recycling event this weekend for City of Milwaukee residents at the Italian Community Center.
Simply dumping electronic waste in the garbage is bad for the environment since many electronic devices contain heavy metals that leak into the ground water supply and pollute it. Please take this opportunity to properly dispose of all those old computer parts and spare TV sets you have laying around the house!
WHEN: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26
WHERE: The Italian Community Center, South parking lot, 631 E. Chicago, Milwaukee
I’ve personally got a car load of old computer parts that I’ve been waiting to get rid of and am thankful to have the chance to properly get rid of them.
Finally, I can get rid of my 1984 Commodore computer!
City residents can use the drop off centers at 6660 N Industrial Road

Is there any particular advantage to this event?
Flanners on Bluemound is also a drop-off point. It’s parking lot was jammed this morning and the traffic was backed up onto Blumound.

computer recycling. Sincerely , i am seriously impressed by the
technology and you use in solving e-waste.
I represent an orgarnization that deals with
encouraging computer literacy among african communities. And we;ve
being doing a great job ever since. Presently, our major challenge is
on getting used computer available to the h igh demand of computer
literacy .
We, would lke to know if it is possible to recieve used
computers meant for recycling from you organization. We do prefer this
due to the low cost of these class of computers, since we are running
a non profitable organization.
