It wasn’t just on a national level that Democrats did well last night. Democrats are now back in control of the Wisconsin state Senate which means Sen. Lena Taylor will finally get her longstanding wish to be Committee Chairperson.

and absolutely horrible news for freedom in america (in this case, wisconsin) concerning the overwheling support for the ‘marriage ammendment’.
That’s exactly right, and one of the serious letdowns of the election. I do think there is a serious and good chance of the anti-gay anti-civil union ammendment that WI passed being struck as a result of the US Supreme Court ruling on this issue in the next few years though.
For the immediate term though, yes, it’s horrible news.
