One thing I will agree on you with is that people who are pushing the war in Iraq so much like Karl Rove should get off their asses and do something about it.

I think it's time for the people who support the continued military action in Iraq the most to actually support the war in the biggest way possible: enlisting.

Dan Bartlett is an administration press official who was on all the networks this morning saying how Rove was "really" talking about Howard Dean, Michael Moore, and moveon.org. I just find it ironic that combinations of those three names have showed up in defense of Rove this morning on the Web, TV, and AM radio.

I don't agree that Democrats equal Republicans, in fact, I'd very much disagree with any sort of comparision between the two, especially on issues like this. As I pointed out above, the differences between Democrats and the Republican administration on the 9/11 issue couldn't be more different.

As for Al-Jazeera, I honestly don't see what that has to do with anything we're talking about, which is the politicization of the worst terrorist attack on American soil in history.

Who is Dan Bartlett?

Democrats == Republicans

isn't the outrage you and others are making out of it

Right Right. - It played on Al Jazeera and other Muslim networks in the Middle East. Makes us look pretty good. Not the outrage. Sheesh.

Seriously, are you just copying and pasting the GOP morning talking points, or repeating what Dan Bartlett said this morning?

Senator Durbin reading the report of abuse at Guantanamo from an FBI agent isn't the outrage you and others are making out of it, and aren't in the same league as what we're talking about.

He said that liberals (while you're right thats what he said, everyone knows what he meant and its silly to try to defend it as some over-generalization) would have prefered to go into therapy with terrorists after 9/11. Scott McClellan says he was, "simply pointing out the different philosophies and different approaches when it comes to winning the war on terrorism." which is bullshit and everyone knows it.

These guys are lying through their teeth and everyone can see it. The White House trying to defend what Rove said and recast the blame back on Dems and liberals is their standard move in this situation, but continues to be just as sickening as it has been for the past five years.

Bush said a few years back that it would be wrong to politicize the 9/11 attacks, and I agree with him on that. Yet here we are almost four years later, and when his top attack dog does politicize it, his administration jumps to the defense of Rove.

So I'm not going to go much more overboard about it. It's shameful, it'd dishonest, and it's exactly what many Americans have come to expect from this Presidency.

Just to clarify, Rove never said Democrat, he said liberals, which, as you know, is different.

Sometimes I think you read what you want to read and not what is really printed. For example, you say, "Regardless, the White House is defending this guy saying "He's just pointing out the philisophical differences between Republicans and Democrats." But the actual comment from the white house was ...
"simply pointing out the different philosophies when it comes to winning the war on terrorism."

Howard Dean and moveon.org wanted this to be a criminal trial instead of viewing it as an act of war.

Al Sharpton said we are reaping what we sew or something like that.

There's not question about that.
Michael Moore: “Likewise, to bomb Afghanistan – I mean, I’ve never understood this, Tim.”

It's interesting that you made no comment about Senator Durbin's comments, but have posted this.

I have to wonder about two parties who bicker about such stupid things (Durbin and Rove comments). Get in your plush offices and do something for the people of this country you schmucks. If you don't think the Dems see a political opportunity to make a big deal of these attacks, I think you are kidding yourself.

Typical Dem/Repub politics ... worthless to even spend time worrying about.
