Excellent! Proof that Scott Walker hasn’t destroyed the parks as we’ve been told time and time again over the past 7 years!
Congratulation to the Parks Department. Anyone who spends time in our Milwaukee County Parks knows that they are well maintained, clean, safe, and full of things to do. In light of all the accolades that the parks are getting, why do some people still feel the need to bash Walker about ruining our park system? Obviously he is doing a bang up job, and so is Sue Black. Drop your politics and offer some credit where credit is due. After all, this is a well deserved award, not some silly Nobel Peace Prize.
Cody,
I’m glad you stayed noble and didn’t diminish the award as a way to take a swipe at Walker.
This is great news for a Department that deserves a lot of credit in managing one of the greatest public treasures in Milwaukee County. Kudos to Sue and her crew.
Today isn’t about any single person, it’s about the entire Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture and I’m happy to see they’re all getting a well deserved moment of recognition.
