No, not all the roads have been bombed; you're right. I should have said the major roads have been bombed according the the reports I've seen on CNN this morning from a reporter who was trying to get to the city to report on the bombing but couldn't, because all the major roads were out according to him. They were forced to use backroads to get to the city which was taking much longer because they were clogged with refugees trying to flee the city, and every city South of it.

Anyways, here we are debating road conditions.

Besides, all the roads have been bombed and are useless.

Not all of the roads have been bombed - that's hyperbole. By the reports I've read, travel is difficult, but not impossible. Where would they go? That's a question to which I don't have an answer.

I guess a better question to ask would be why the civilians allow Hezbollah to launch rockets from their cities.

Where are tens of thousands of people supposed to go? To the next town that is likely to be bombed too? Besides, all the roads have been bombed and are useless.

Sad.

"Israel said it had warned civilians several days before to leave the village.

"The Israeli defense forces dropped leaflets and warned the civilian population to leave the place because the Hezbollah turned it into a war zone."

Why do these people stay?
