President Bush Looking for Someone to Run His Wars, Other Than Himself that Is

Being President is hard work!

White House considers war overseer.

The White House is considering naming a high-powered official to oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and report directly to President Bush and National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley. – AP

You mean someone to run the wars other than the person we elect every four years?

I have to wonder if President Bush hired someone to run the state of Texas when he was Governor there too?

Actually, Texas is unusual in that the lieutenant governor has more power than the governor when it comes to dealing with the legislature. Bush took credit for a lot of things accomplished by the Democratic LG, Bob Bullock.

Now he wants a lieutenant commander in chief, apparently. Or maybe lieutenant decider.
