Record Gas Prices Continue

More a historical marker than anything else, but I paid $4.00 ($4.09 to be exact) for a gallon of gasoline for the first time in my life today.

That is an increase in over $1.25 per gallon in just the last six months, with no apparent end in sight.

The highest I’ve actually paid so far was $3.96, 10 days ago, but I’ve seen $4.2something while rolling past on my bicycle. Actually, on Saturday I saw 4.2something while jogging past, then 4.1something maybe 10 minutes later, after turning around. It always amuses me, when I do buy gasoline, to see that the previous customer bought more than my car could even fit in its tank.
