Save Us From “Saved By Zero” Toyota Ad
It’s heartening to see that I’m not the only one who is being driven up a wall by Toyota’s “Saved by Zero” ads.

Dear Toyota ad executives: I understand there’s no such thing as “bad publicity”, but please, P-L-E-A-S-E, make it stop because any time I even see a Toyota on the highway these days, I try to preemptively get myself to stop from repeating the jingle in my head, usually to no avail.
Even writing about it, I’m cringing.
I live in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI with my wife Jen, our daughter Emerson, and son Carter.
That ad drives my wife absolutely craaaaaazy.
You can’t escape it, it’s everywhere.
Nice little break from politics, and you are SOOOOOO right….The biggest problem isn’t the jingle (at least for me), it’s the fact that they play that commercial on EVERY station, 8 TIMES an hour. I was a marketing major in college and I realize redundancy is important, but come on!!!
Truly an issue that transcends politics.
That ad campaign makes me want to buy zero Toyotas.
I completely agree. The jingle may stick in my head, but I certainly won’t be in any position to buy a car when I’ve smashed my face into a concrete wall until I’ve put myself irretrievable in to a coma.
Thanks for nothin’, Toyota.
