Sen. McCain Flag Lapel Pin Watch: Day 30

Once again, Sen. Obama has no problem showing his patriotism to the American people:

Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) hosts a discussion on home ownership at the College of Southern Nevada in North Las Vegas, Nevada May 27, 2008

Sen. McCain on the other hand, continues to snub our national symbol of freedom:

President Bush is accompanied by Republican presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and his wife Cindy, seen reflected on the car, before Bush boards Air Force One at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, after Bush attended a private campaign fundraising event for McCain in Phoenix, Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

As an astute right-wing radio show said just weeks ago, “by rejecting the pin, he’s rejecting what it stands for, loyalty and love of America”.

While he was talking about Sen. Obama at the time, I’m sure the same unique logic will apply to Sen. McCain as well, and I for one applaud the outrage right-wing radio talk show hosts are displaying towards Sen. McCain on this critical issue.
