Summing Up the McCain Campaign Message
After some time to mull over last night’s speech, I realized the McCain campaign message boils down to this:
John McCain wants to kick Republicans out of Washington so he and his Republican backers can clean up Washington.
I live in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI with my wife Jen, our daughter Emerson, and son Carter.

Yep, Dan. And they’re going to ’stand up’ while cleaning up DC. huzzah!

Speaking of Dems and cleaning up …

I am glad the Dems respect the flag so much! If they need help disposing, call the VFW for goodness sakes. The funny thing is, I expect EXACTLY this from the left. Use the flag for political purposes and then, when nobody is looking, treat it like they feel about it. The left hates the flag and everything it stands for.
Obviously Dan, you cannot defend your party on this one.

Oh yeah - another thing since we’re on the topic. I really like the left’s hypocrisy on freedom of speech. Let’s protest McCain’s speech and make asses of ourselves, thus obstructing American citizens the ability to hear a presidential candidate speak.
I look forward to Dan’s denunciation of the behavior from two of his party’s supporters.

Yeah boy-
How are you going to defend the Republican who stole the flags, lied about where they came from and then tried to smear Obama?

It’s a made up story, but nice outrage. Should I delete the comments to let you save face or do you want to do it yourself?
I think your comments lately are less about an actual attempt at real debate and more about trying to get me into “gotcha” moments like this. I don’t get your motivation - maybe it’s trying to throw some water in my face to “wake me up” - but it’s small and sad.

Capper .. hmmm. I guess I don’t buy the Dems response. I mean - the flags were in HEFTY trash bags on a dock by the trash. HEFTY bags. Also - the bags were sitting by the trash for 1 week. We’ll have to stay tuned!
How are you going to defend the Republican who stole the flags, ….
I wouldn’t defend him.
Dan - No need to delete the comment - I posted it and accept responsibility. Thanks, though. I will reserve the right to request a comment to be deleted in the future, however. ;)
I am not trying to get you into “gotcha” moments, I am not sure what that would accomplish if that were the motivation. You are an active blogger of political topics and I bring up stories that are contrary to what you post about. I am not being a dink, just bringing up topics to discuss that I know YOU would not bring up.

Of course you don’t buy the response, but you had no trouble buying and promoting a total bullshit story with no proof simply because it trashed Democrats.
Sorry, but I don’t buy the excuse. Lastly, why would I bring this up on my weblog? It’s a totally fabricated smear story. The worst kind of crap we have in politics, and you’re asking why I wouldn’t bring it up?
By Yeah Boy, September 7, 2008 @ 11:33 am
no proof
No proof? I saw American flags in TRASH BAGS! TRASH BAGS. That is no way to treat the flag.
simply because it trashed Democrats.
Kind of funny line considering the topic … trashed. Democrats. LOL. ;)
you’re asking why I wouldn’t bring it up?
I did not say you should have brought it up.

Seriously. Stop spreading downright BS smears. If you want to put crap like this up on your own weblog, go ahead, but don’t use my site to advance garbage like this.
