Personally, I would rather people discuss specific issues rather than used the terms 'left' and 'right' under the presumption that people who one of two groups of opinions accross a bunch of issues. All I did is put forward a position that Bush lied, then cited a few facts to support it. I also said that Congress and the President have failed in their most basic of jobs, in this case establishing standards and passing laws. Now that I've been nice: If you're still in a bad mood, maybe you could go bomb an abortion clinic or something. Hmmmm… I love the fact that all you attack is the messenger. Is it because the message -in this case, the truth- is too much to handle.

Which is why I get so furious when I see a group of people gain power and use that power to implement policies that will ruin our country. And please, I'd rather not be called a lefty. If I had to choose any ideology, I'd pick libertarianism. If it were Democrats driving our country quickly into decline, I'd just as vociferously criticize them. So just remember, criticism of one's government should in no way be misinterpreted as a lack of patriotism. Quite the contrary, I love this country.
