That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998</em> Key phrase there: 'deny Iraq the capacity to develop'. As for all the quotes from Senators in 2002/2003 - duh? From what I heard on the Sunday talk shows, this was the GOP talking point - "HEY! Even Democrats said there were WMDs in Iraq!!!" The question of whether Bush lied about Iraqs WMD capabilites doesn't just apply to the general public, there's serious concern that the administration lied to congress as well about pre-war intelligence.
