Perhaps humor might seem funnier if it were not the harsh insults that conservatives hear every day. Many people, not knowing that others are conservative, often loudly issue the same “humor” and then chuckle at those evil conservatives. I know conservatives who work in higher education who actually have a secret lunch club so that they can escape the unknowing harassment they get from well meaning co-workers. It always amazes me that those who preach tolerance and diversity often have none themselves. It’s not always that funny when you are on the business end of it.

Perhaps you could start off with a knock-knock joke for practice.

OK, for all you out there, I was trying to point out how frickin’ ridiculous this comment was. I left another comment which none of you read which spoke to the fact that I appreciate that at least the rest of you have beliefs to back up your comments, whereas anon was just a moron.

What the heck? Unless you all are really fantasizing about Sarah Palin, which I suppose would be ok except for that whole 10th commandment thing, it was obviously not aimed at conservatives. A word I specifically did not use in my comment. It was aimed at stupid people. You guys can’t be offended by that, can you?

What the reason for the decline? Weather? Smaller deer herd?

Based on my observations and posts on this thread I suspect the deer have simply moved to the suburbs— it’s safer, with better food.
