Video of Country Grounds Signing Ceremony

by Dan Cody Leave a reply »

For those who may be interested, I was able to get a bit of video from the signing ceremony between Milwaukee County and UW Milwaukee that took place yesterday. This is the actual signing part of the ceremony by County Exec. Walker.

Sound isn’t the best, but it was extremely windy so I was lucky to pick up anything decent.. Appreciate any feedback.

Where’d you get the video from? All I saw on the news yesterday was about 3 seconds about it.

I’m impressed that Walker graduated from crayons.

Did he stay between the lines, I wonder.

    • Sean says:

Gee, and you wonder why the right comes to the defense of Walker?!?!?!?

      • capper says:

Not really. These are the same people that listen to and believe talk radio, so they are obviously gullible.

        • Sean says:

Problem is capper, you should. Everyone on the right doesn’t listen to, much less believe talk radio (even if they do, trust me the decisions and beliefs they have are not based off of blowhards with microphones). So to discount the people that voted him in and those that generally support him, as gullible will end up being a big mistake come 2010.

Please continue to blindly and unintelligently bash Scott Walker with things like “I’m impressed that Walker graduated from crayons.

Did he stay between the lines, I wonder.” Don’t be angry when he’s the next Gov of WI.

            Sean,

I am inviting you to read my site sometime, to see what your illustrious Mr. Walker is pulling. If you recognized the truth of the deal, in which Walker has basically given the land away for nothing, you would see why I am so angry.

And while I do often refer to Walker as a weasel, you will also find that I can pack up that assertion.

I also recognize the fact that some people will not accept the truth when it is laid out for them (and that goes for both sides of the political spectrum).

Lastly, don’t be surprised when Walker doesn’t even make it to the primary again.

              Capper,

I have read your website, and the “evidence” stated sounds more like opinion and differences in ideology (more often than not). Oh, and on a side note, I don’t know where you got the impression that I consider Scott Walker illustrious….ANYWAYS,

I’m not going to argue with you on whether or not Walker is a weasel. (considering my opinions on most politicians) What I will do is ask the question, while reading both your comments on Dan’s blog and your own website, is if you feel the insatiable need to hold politicians like Walker “accountable” can you do the same for your Democratic buddies (ie: Jim Doyle)?

As for who comes out of the primary, 1) I don’t care as long as they beat Jim Doyle, and 2) I’m a betting man, and I’m predicting right now that I will be very surprised if Walker doesn’t make it to the general election….

    Sean,

The evidence is all stuff that has been reported.

As far as Doyle, I have no love lost for him. He has done a lot of things and has made some decisions that tick me off to no end. That said, Walker makes him look like the best thing since sliced bread. If your biggest issue is taxes, at least Doyle admits to raising them. When Walker does it, but then tries to blame anyone and everyone he can.

And no, Walker won’t make it much past the spring. Wait until you see his 2010 budget.
