Webmonkey Back from the Dead (Again)

Published by Daniel Cody at 7:54 am under Technology

Looks like the old Webmonkey.com web site is back online, after a much publicized shutdown back in February.

Looks like they’re back with even more advertisments (and more intrusive ones at that) than before, which is saying a lot, for a website who’s managers sole measure of success was the number of banner ads it was shelling out a day. We’ll wait to see if they actually have new content up more than once a week, which is better than some web-dev sites sadly, or if this is just another ploy for a short term bump in site traffic to increase the number of banner ad rotations…

and not only that, i can’t use the expanding menus for the HOW-TO LIBRARY because the huge flash advert inviting me to “Shoot This Digital Camera” is in the way (in firefox).

not bad for a web development site eh?
