Just a reminder that the 4th Congressional District of Wisconsin Convention will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the downtown campus of the Milwaukee Area Technical College, 700 W. State Street in the Student Union Building room S120.
Registration starts at 11am and the public is welcome to come! The registration fee is $7.00 for Democratic Party members and $10.00 for non-members. Democratic Party members who live in the 4th CD will also be casting votes for the executive committee for the next year.
Once again, I’ll be running for re-election as Vice-Chair of the 4th CD.
Confirmed guests include: Congresswoman Gwen Moore; Senator Herb Kohl; Senator Russ Feingold’s campaign manager George Aldrich; Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager; State Senator Lena Taylor; State Representative Tamara Grigsby and many candidates up for election in 2006.
If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved in grassroots politics with the Democratic party, this is a great way to do it.
