Yeah, my first thought when reading that story was, “$1,000,000?!!!! Hell, we do sites many times better for a very great deal less. If I do clients like Brady and Valpak that I was going to charge them a million dollars, I wouldn’t have any clients.”

One thing I haven’t seen anywhere is who hired this group. Someone had to make the choice and I think they have some questions to answer. Plus wouldn’t you think that a $1,000,000 contract would be open to bid?

Wow, that image (not really the point of the post I know) is *terrible*.

And a million dollars? They better have a contract that states that the company *supports and enhances* that site in perpetuity for no additional charges at that kind of money.

From what I saw of that site, I could have put that together in about 2 weeks for what would have been much cheaper (granted the *support* contract might be more expensive, but that’s a seperate contract).

This is what you get when you get people that aren’t technologically savvy making decisions about technology.
